Newly Renovated 2 Bd Apt Prospect Lefferts BK

  • 4 Guests
  • 2 Bedrooms
  • 2 Beds
  • 2 Bathrooms

We share two bedrooms, each having a queen sized bed. So we accommodate a maximum of 4 people. The apt is spacious, yet cozy, with two bathrooms, a living room, open kitchen, and small dining area. It is newly renovated; actually everything in the apt is new! This is our home; we take pride in maintaining a clean and immaculate space!

This is the ground floor unit of a two-family Townhouse. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Access to front porch.

There is street parking only, which can be challenging. There is convenient access to two subway stations: B/Q/S @ Prospect Park and 2/5 @ Sterling St

Taking its rather long name from three nearby locations — Prospect Park, Lefferts Manor, and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden — Prospect Lefferts Gardens ("PLG," to locals) can be found below Empire Boulevard, on the eastern side of its namesake park. Settled by the Dutch in 1660, it wasn’t until the late 19th century that the neighborhood’s character began to take shape. You'll find mostly low and mid-rise buildings — many of them prewar, with some newer builds along the avenues. Due to a still-observed 1893 land-use covenant, residences located within the eight-block, rectangular Lefferts Manor Historic District must be single-family homes, built of brick or stone, and at least two stories high, among other guidelines. Befitting a neighborhood with multiple namesakes combined into one, Lefferts Manor is hardly PLG's only Historic District with a distinct architectural character: The Chester Court Historic District is a cul-de-sac made up of 18 Tudor Revival-style houses, while the Ocean on the Park Historic District consists of two brick and 10 limestone townhouses set back from the road behind a row of trees.

7 minute Walk to B/Q/S subway @ Prospect Park & 2/5 subway @ Sterling St.

Street parking is available, but it's verey challenging

Please note: Our home is quiet, but this is NYC. If you're unaccustomed to life in a big city, this may not be sufficiently quiet for you. My home is a townhouse, which means we are attached to our neighbors. We have no control over what they do on their property. We do have a neighbor who sometimes watches sports events in his backyard. Although it hasn't been a problem for most guests we want to be transparent. Please take note If you're sensitive to noise.

Although infrequent, it may occur when you're here. So please do not review us based on standard, every day, uncontrollable NYC issues.

Please note: we primarily accommodate couples/adults/small groups for therapy retreats, hence we are not suitable for children.
